Compare alternatives

The "Compare Alternatives" dialog dialog enables you to compare the alternative structure and gives you an overview of the cost differences of multiple alternatives.

  1. Select a part with alternatives in the project structure.

  2. Right-click on the part > Alternatives > Compare .

    The "Compare Alternatives" dialog opens.

    If the component has more than one alternatives, the "Choose Alternatives" dialog dialog opens.

  3. From the "Reference alternative" combobox, select that alternative you wish to compare with all of the other alternatives.
  4. In the "Compare with" list, select the alternatives you wish to compare with the reference alternative. The "Compare Alternatives" dialog opens.
  5. Activate the checkboxes of the criteria you wish to use for the comparison.
  6. Click on Compare.
