This dialog is used to assign a resource to the selected process.

"Multi-level choice" group:

  • Resource group structure view:

    When a resource group is selected, all the resources contained in the group are displayed in the "Available Resources" and "Inventory number" lists. When the "All Entries" tree item is selected, all resources are displayed.

"Search" group:

The dialog elements in the "Search" group are used to search for a resource.

  • "Search" entry field:
    • Deactivated checkbox "For inventory number":

      Enter a character string to search through the items in the "Available Resources" list. The list will scroll to and select the first item in the list containing this character string.

    • Activated checkbox "For inventory number":

      Enter a character string to search through the items in the "Available Resources" list. The list will scroll to and highlight the first item in the list containing this character string.

  • Next button:

    Click this button to search for the next item with this character string. When an item is found, it is highlighted.

"Choice" group:

  • "Bound to part resource" checkbox:

    Activating this checkbox restricts the display to resources that are linked to the part in Data Administration.

  • "Available Resources" entry field:

    Select a resource from the "Available Resources" list or in the "Inventory number" list. When an item by that name is found in the list, it is highlighted.

  • "Available Resources" entry field:

    The list displays the names of all resources in the highlighted group in the structure view of resource groups. Selecting the name of a machine also highlights the corresponding number in the "Inventory number" list.

  • Entry field in the "Inventory number" list:

    Enter an inventory number. When an item by that name is found in the list, it is highlighted.

  • "Inventory number" list:

    The list displays the inventory number of all resources in the highlighted group in the structure view of resource groups. Selecting an inventory number also highlights the corresponding name in the "Available Resources" list.

"Details" group:

Displays the details of the highlighted resource.

"Description" group:

Displays the description for the selected resource.
