In addition to the standard parameters, you can manage further parameter for the functions.

Class You can select the following function classes:
  • Main function:

    Main functions entail the primary tasks or the main purpose of an object. Their fulfillment is indispensable.

  • Adjacent function:

    Adjacent functions are other tasks that are required for fulfilling the main functions. Yet, they often only indirectly help fulfilling the main function.

  • Sub-function
  • Additional function
Type You can select the following function types:
  • Usage function:

    Usage functions are required for the technical and commercial use of an object.

  • Prestige function:

    Prestige functions do not have a significant effect on the usage function of an object. They cater to matters of taste or prestige. Prestige functions are required, if these additional functions are requested by the customer.
Importance The percentage value representing the importance of the function.
Note

Please note that the percentage value for the "Importance" of a function must always result in 100% of the main and the sub-functions.
