Offer calculation mode

Offer defines are all parts, processes and materials which contain a binding offer.

The Offer mode is available for:

  • Purchase and Standard Parts: These are set to this mode by default, as no purchase price is defined for them in Data Administration.
  • Manufacturing part
  • Assembly
  • Material: Enter the actual offer costs. The material overhead costs are added automatically.
  • Process
  • Additional Costs
Note

In the Offer mode, predefined charges for overhead costs and inflation will not be calculated for processes.

In this mode, the following costs are added to the offer and shown in the calculation overview with the following result:

  • For purchased and standard parts: purchased and standard part inflation costs.
  • For material costs: material overhead and inflation costs.
  • For assemblies and manufacturing parts: component overhead costs.
  • For process costs: manufacturing and wage costs.

The Offer calculation mode is indicated in the calculation overview column with the row color dark-green:

Assign the Offer calculation mode with validities

Activating the validities in the system settings, enables the Advanced calculation mode to be shown in an expanded view. It now contains the "Validities" tab. The corresponding fields ("Cycle times" and "Cavities") are deactivated in the "Validities" tab. It shows the value of the currently set calculation year.

    Calculations

  1. Select the element in the project structure you wish to set the Offer mode at.
  2. In the ribbon, click on StartSet Mode ("Edit" group) Offer . The Offer dialog opens.
  3. Switch to Validities tab.
  4. Activate the "Use validities" checkbox. The activity types with respective properties are shown in the table after the project years.
  5. Define the time units in the "Unit" column.
  6. Define the machine, working and setup times along with further validity values in the "Project year" columns.
  7. Confirm your entries with OK.
