Create manufacturing processes

The following manufacturing processes are required for the project PC Mouse:

  • Deburring
  • Adhesive bond
  • Assembling
  • Injection molding
  • Die-cutting
  • Forming
  • Packaging

Create folder

  1. In the Data Administration, open the folder Manufacturing processes.
  2. Right-click on Manufacturing processes ► New ► Manufacturing processes group. A new folder is created.
  3. Enter "PC Mouse" in the Name entry field.
  4. Click Apply. The folder is renamed to "PC Mouse“.

Create a manufacturing process

  1. Right-click on the folder PC Mouse ► New ► Manufacturing Process. A new manufacturing process is created.
  2. Select the General tab. Enter "Deburring" in he Name entry field.
  3. Click Apply. The changes are saved.

    4. The manufacturing process "Deburring" is created.

  4. Repeat the steps to create all other manufacturing processes.

The manufacturing processes are now available in Data Administration and are ready to be used to calculate the project.
