Calculate manufacturing parts

Sometimes the data required for calculation are not available or not known yet. Still, the calculator is suggested to estimate the costs. The Estimation calculation mode can be used to perform a rough estimate.

The assembly "Lower part" contains two manufacturing parts "Bottom plate" and "Cover plate". Define the estimates for both manufacturing parts.

Bottom plate 0.93 €
  1. In the project structure, open PC Mouse ► Lower part ► Cover plate.
  2. Right-click on Cover plate ► Estimation. The Estimation Dialog opens.
  3. Enter "0.23 €/piece" in the Estimated costs entry field.

  4. Click OK.

    The Estimation dialog closes.

    The manufacturing part "Cover plate" is estimated with the price "0.23 €/piece". It is shown in red font to indicate this.

  5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 to estimate the manufacturing part "Cover plate" from the table.
  6. Save the project.
